Huh?

Well, they're back.

And their new friend is already annoying me. The girl, the idiot and their friend got back a little while ago and brought a ton of food with them. Then some zombies showed up but at least that woman didn't insist on staying and letting herself get hurt again. She went inside and left them to me and the brat. Who is, I should note, fucking insane. He keeps calling me weird names (do I look like a "-chan" kind of person?!) and I swear to God he's flirting with me. What the hell did I do to deserve that kind of attention- which is less like flirting now I think about it and more like sexual harassment- from some suicidal, idiotic, fucked up brat?

On the plus side, I found out how high the barrier goes up. I managed to test it up to the fourth floor but it probably goes higher. I'll have to test the roof later on, don't want to deal with an ambush. It was just an experiment, not a game like the brat kept insisting. "Zombie Tossing". He even wrote up rules and fucked up penalties in his note book (which I saw because I accidentally read over his shoulder, not because I was helping him!). He kept trying to come up with rules saying I had to kiss him and shit. Anyway, as if I'd do something so childish as making a game out of something like that.

I won, of course.

desolate

(no subject)

It's still really early in the morning, I just woke up. I don't think the sun has even risen yet but I'm starving. I don't feel like more steak so I'm eating another apple right now. We're starting to run low on food, only got enough for another day or two. Might have to go back to that market place again later today and stock up, especially if the girl and the idiot come back and the dwarf is planning on staying.

The girl and her friend haven't come back yet, the woman is getting worried (getting? Not the right word for it, now I think about it) and she'll probably run out looking for them in a few hours if they don't get back before then. Idiot. At least maybe we'll see some action, I don't like the idea of just hiding in here forever. I need to start looking for a way home, but I've got no idea of how to start. Damnit. If the dwarf is right about a wizard or something sending us here, I need to find him. I have no idea how to find him but I need to.

If it was something else that brought us here... Fuck if I know what to do. Do we just wait until this god-forsaken city spits us back out again?

The woman woke up. We cleaned all that mess upstairs out of the way so hopefully no one will be knocked unconscious again anytime soon. Don't have much hope.

Apparently she thought I was some kind of God, or servant of a God, or something and that's why she was so scared of me. I read her notebook by accident. I didn't realise what it was until I was already reading it, serves her right for just leaving it out in the open! (Note to self: Never leave this book alone.) She was freaking out because she thinks she keeps screwing things up or something. She was really upset, though she seems to have cheered up now I've set her straight. She kept asking questions about Tomoyo after that. I told her a little, nothing important just that she's my master and that she's a little brat, and she seemed to find it amusing. She laughed at me and everything.

...Should have just let her keep thinking I was a God or whatever. I get the feeling that wasn't the last time she'd ever try to make fun of me.

Some weird, short, bearded woman/thing (Elandra called her a dwarf) wondered into the safe house after that. Not sure whether or not to trust her (?), she's well armed but she seems alright. I'm staying on guard tonight, it's still only early and they're already asleep, so if she tries anything I'll be there to stop her. I can keep a watch out for anyone else who tries to sneak in as well.

...Tomoyo is fine. She's not here, wherever 'here' is. I'd know if she was. Even if she was on the other side of the city I'd know. I always know. She's probably in Shirasaki castle right now, with Souma right next to her, trying to figure out where I am. Hell, maybe she even has enough power to track me down and transport me back home. I can't rely  on that but it's a nice thought. Either way, she's fine. I may be her best ninja but I'm not her only ninja, I'm sure the others can protect her well enough until I get- ...That clan in the South has been making noises about invading Shirasaki over the past few days, haven't they? They wouldn't try anything so soon, would they? ...Who am I kidding, the second word gets out that I'm missing every enemy Tomoyo has ever made (and she somehow makes quite a few) is going to be knocking on the door. Fuck. Just hope Souma realised that before anyone else noticed I'd disappeared. I need to get home NOW.

startled

One hell of a day.

Well, we saved the idiot surrounded by zombies. Some idiot who calls himself "Doctor" who repaid us by blowing up a building or something and bringing it down on our heads, knocking himself out in the process. The elf/woman/whatever got her arm bitten pretty bad, the idiot (who's awake now) and some girl who was hanging out with him are fixing it up now. The idiot was planning on blowing the bacteria in her arm up but, luckily, he's lost whatever he was using to do that so he's stuck with water. I don't want to know how she would have reacted to his idea but luckily she got knocked out by some rock falling off the top of the staircase. Gonna have to clean that up later, great.

The girl doesn't seem so bad. She's got some weird attack names which have something to do with her family's martial art style (which I don't think she's too fond of) but she seems to have a pretty god head on her shoulder. Might ask her what's up with her attack names later but it's not that important.

The idiot hasn't made too many friends today. Some asshole was in the building he blew up and is planing to kill him as soon as he finds out he's awake. Suppose I should probably stop him but he's not a huge threat right now. His ankle's fucked up pretty bad. He's made friends with the nutjob, who also showed up, and they're sitting out in the hallway. There's a great combination. The nutjob's still after my eyes, I think, the last thing I need is an ally for him.

Still no closer to getting home OR finding Tomoyo. This is starting to really piss me off.

pissed

Stupid girl... Not my fault.

Got into a fight with the elf today. If you could call it a fight, anyway, she doesn't argue back much. That girl is too trusting. Her reason for trusting me? Apparently I'm really strong and I "fight the darkness". Since when are those decent reasons for trusting a virtual stranger? Doesn't she realize that the phrase "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" should be strictly ironic? She seems to think we should jump to the rescue of any person we see just because they're against the zombies. The thought that one of those people might turn on her doesn't seem to have even occurred to her before I pointed it out. Idiot. How in the hell has she lived as long as she claims she has? Not that I'm worried or anything

Anyway, it turns out she doesn't trust me anyway. She's scared of me. I was right about Hama Ryuu-oh-jin freaking her out, she's convinced that no "mere mortal" could have my power and I'm something else. Don't know what though, she wouldn't answer me when I tried to pry it out of her.

...She was seriously scared of me.

Anyway, even though I didn't do anything other than tell her the truth and try to get her do the same, I did feel a little bad about scaring her so bad. So I tried to cheer her up a bit, not my strong point. Got her rambling about her brother for a while but we just spotted some zombies attacking someone and wouldn't you know it? She's already jumped down to save them, idiot.

(no subject)

When I woke up this morning I gave the building we're in a look around. Found this weird room with a silver table. It had knobs along the side and when I started playing around with them the top started to burn. You can turn the fire on and off with the knobs so it's like an indoor campfire, I suppose. Found a small spear thing in one of the draws and used it to cook some of the meat we got yesterday.

After we ate I left to scout out the rest of this area. I can't shake the idea that Tomoyo was behind that barrier (which is still working, by the way. A few zombies tried to follow me on my way back) but she would have had to have been on one of the closer buildings to know we needed it. I searched as hard as I could but I couldn't find her or any traces of her. I suppose by now she could be halfway across the city though, I should have started searching for her as soon as I saw the shield but the elf distracted me. I'm going to keep an eye out for Tomoyo but there's always the chance she was never here at all. I can't stop looking until I'm sure though. Maybe if Tomoyo was sent here, Souma was as well? If that's true then Tomoyo should be safe... To tell the truth I don't like the idea of either of them in this hell hole.

No need to tell the elf about this.

I hate women.

If I look at all my problems, sooner or later I find a female at their source. Really. I do.

We found a place to stay. Pretty big building, lots of room. We got chased in by a bunch of zombies but they couldn't get in. There's some kind of barrier protecting this building. It's a lot like the ones Tomoyo uses, I thought. I didn't realise I was thinking outloud though, the girl started poking her nose in. Apparently she's some kind of veteran warrior, now. She says her race age real slowly, claims she's about a thousand years old. Calls herself and 'elf', still not sure what the hell that means. Might have been a bit harsh with her, but I think I can be excused of that. It's pretty rare I meet non-humans that are friendly and it was stupid of me to put some much trust in her after only knowing her one day. It's been a rough day as well. The first two people I meet in a zombie filled, dead city are an eye stealing nutjob and an 'elf' (whatever that is). Still, comparing her to demons and not-very-subtly threatening her might have been a little over the top (if I'd done anything wrong I might decide to make it up to her tomorrow. If). Fuck, if Tomoyo were here she'd never let me hear the end of it...

...
...
...

If Tomoyo were in this place, I'd know. I'm sure I would. Especially if she were close enough to know we needed a barrier. I always know. It couldn't have been her.

...But if she is here I need to find her fast. She's in danger.

Jul. 8th, 2008

Huh?

This is getting seriously irritating

Well... I've had an interesting (read: fucking crazy) few hours. Met some nutjob who's apparently obsessed with gouging out people's eyes and some soldier girl. The girl's alright, good head on her shoulders, I suppose. Neither of them know how we all ended up here or how we get back though. The girl kept going on about protecting the nutjob because it's her duty but he didn't seem to apprieciate it. He wondered off and the girl showed me where to get some food. Good thing as well, I was starving. Eating some fruit while we walk now. I suppose this girl is better than no one. She told me a bit about her world, they're under  attack and she's a soldier. She reminds me a little of me Sohma, only less bitchy.

When we left the supermarket thing we got attacked by those demon men (called 'zombies' apparently). We were getting swamped and I told the girl to run away- not because I cared about saving her! I just wanted to use Hama Ryuu-oh-jin and it's harder when there's someone standing right next to you. She wouldn't leave and she's lucky I didn't hit her as well. The attack took out a lot of the zombies, though I think I saw a few sitting back up as we were leaving, but some were left standing. I suppose deep gouges through your shoulders don't matter much when you're a walking corpse. It was only the ones who got split in half or decapitated that were down for the count for good.   I feel a little more tired than I normally do after that attack. Might just be that I was hungry. We'll see. Just in case though, I might keep that attack in reserve. It freaked the girl out as well, so it might be a good idea to keep quiet about it.

We're just looking around for a place to crash now. I wonder if there's anywhere the zombies won't get to?
